There is no government restriction on the age limit for trekking in Vietnam. However we do not accept reservations of hiking tour for children under the age of 8 years old and adults over 80 years old unless a classic itinerary is requested. All children under 18 years old must also be accompanied by an adult. Vietnam hard treks of level 3 are recommended for people aged 18 – 65 only. Some special hikes such as Fansipan climb and Son Doong cave expedition, an approval letter from your doctor may be necessary to join the challenge.
