Sapa Red Dao Villages Trekking Hiking Tour

Escape from hustle and bustle Hanoi, you’ll join a weekend trip to get to the Sapa mountainous area and enjoy the the overnight trek to Cat Cat village, Ta Phin village. These two villages are inhabited by the H’mong and the Red Dzao people. Although this weekend package is available all year round, we recommend you taking the tour in winter time since the summer is the high domestic travel season. The Sapa town, Sapa train are crowded and it can be quite hard to get the train confirmed.

Day 1: Hanoi – Laocai. Overnight train.

Pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi and transfer to the Ha Noi Train Station to get the night train to Lao Cai station .

Day 2: Lao Cai – Sa Pa.

Our guide meets you at the Lao Cai train station, and you depart for Sa Pa by minibus. Arriving in Sa Pa mid-morning, you check in to the hotel, have breakfast and short rest. After lunch, our guide takes you to visit two Black H’mong villages (Cat Cat Village) and a waterfall. There, you will have a chance to see the hydroelectric power station built by the French. After that, it’s back to Sa Pa for dinner. In the evening, you’re free to do as you wish. You can explore the town of Sa Pa. Overnight in hotel.

Day 3: Sapa Trek. Travel to Laocai – Hanoi.

After breakfast, our guide takes you to villages populated by H’Mong and Daop peoples, respectively called Ma Tra and Ta Phin. Duration of the trek is about 3 hours. You’ll have lunch either with an ethnic minority family or on the way back to Lao Cai to catch a night train back to Ha Noi, arriving the next early morning.

Day 4: Arrive Hanoi. End tour.

Arrive Hanoi early this morning. You will be greeted again by Lotussia Travel guide, driver and transferred to your hotel in Hanoi. End tour.
