Gia Lai province is located in the Central Highlands, sharing its border with Kon Tum Province on the north, Dak Lak Province on the south, Cambodia on the west, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen provinces on the east.

Coming to Gia Lai, you have the chance to discover impressive natural landscapes. Attractions include Kon Ka Kinh national park, Kon Cha Rang tropical forests, Xung Khoeng Waterfall, Phu Cuong Waterfall, Da Trang, Mo springs and Ayaun Ha Lake. Located on the top of an extinct volcano, Bien Ho (To Nung Lake) is called the ‘Pearl of Pleiku’. Its water is so clear that you can see fish swimming in the water.

The province is also characterized by making exceptional funeral houses, and special Rong house. Whenever going to Gia Lai Vietnam, you are likely to see the unique architectural style of the statues in funeral houses. There are two seasons: the rainy season lasts from May to November and the dry season lasts from December to April. The annual average temperature varies between 21 and 25oC. The west of Truong Son Ranges has annual average rainfall is 2,200- 2,500mm. The east of Truong Son Ranges has annual average rainfall is 1,200- 1,750mm.
